Abstract:AimTo investigate iRoot SP single-apical root canal filling on efficacy, pain and inflammation in patients with dental pulp disease. MethodsA total of 106 patients with endodontic disease were selected and divided into routine group and observation group according to random number table method, with 53 patients in each group. The conventional group was treated with AHplus root paste filling, while the observation group was treated with iRoot SP single-tip root canal filling. Both groups were treated for 3 months. The filling time of root canal, recovery time, clinical efficacy, pain, inflammatory response in terms of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) levels, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. ResultsThe filling time of the observation group was shorter than that of the conventional group (P<0.05). The total reiRoot SPonse rate in the observation group was higher than that in the conventional group (P<0.05). After filling, IL-6 and hs-CRP increased in both groups, and the observation group was lower than the conventional group (P<0.05). The pain was lower in the observation group than in the conventional group (P<0.05). The complication rate of patients in the observed group was lower than that in the conventional group (P<0.05). ConclusioniRoot SP single apical root canal filling for dental pulp disease can shorten the filling time and recovery time of patients, improve the curative effects, reduce the inflammatory reaction, relieve patients' pain and reduce the incidence of complications, which has certain promotion value.
